Luke then went on to Maranatha Christian Academy from 1992 to 1994, where they studied various subjects such as Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Geometry, Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Biology, and Physical Science.

Following their time at Maranatha Christian Academy, Luke became a Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) student at Osseo High School from 1994 to 1996. During this time, they earned 85 college credits from the University of Minnesota. In 1994, Luke also began their undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) degree with a focus on Finance and Insurance and Risk Management. Luke completed their undergraduate degree in 2001.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Luke enrolled at Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 2002 to 2005. Luke obtained their J.D. degree and specialized in estate planning, tax law, transactional law, and real estate.

In addition to their formal education, Luke has obtained certifications in Writing and Editing. Luke completed a course on Structure and Organization from Coursera in February 2021 and another course on Word Choice and Word Order in January 2021.
