Catherine Mapp

Catherine Mapp is an experienced art teacher currently at Art with a Heart since December 2021. Prior to this role, Catherine served as the Director of Marketing and Development at Virtual Underground DC, where responsibilities included developing marketing and fundraising strategies to enhance audience engagement and support community initiatives. Catherine has extensive experience in the hospitality sector, having worked as a bartender and events manager at Leon's Backroom and Papi's Tacos, where skills in customer relations, social media marketing, and event planning were honed. Earlier experience includes managing client relationships and social media for Flowers By Chris. Catherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art and continued studies at Alberta University of the Arts from 2020 to 2022.
