Renee Tso

Renee Tso has a strong background in software engineering, with experience at a variety of prestigious companies. Renee currently works as a Software Engineer at Aptos Labs, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Facebook as a Software Engineer from September 2018 to January 2023. Renee also had an internship at Facebook in 2017, where they worked as a Software Engineer Intern. In 2016, they gained further experience as an Engineering Practicum Intern at Google. Renee also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Qualcomm in 2015. Renee began their career at Girls Who Code, first as a Teaching Assistant Intern in 2014, where they supported and mentored students in a computer science immersion program. In 2013, they were a student at Girls Who Code, where they collaborated with Facebook engineers on various projects, including designing and building a feature for Facebook Messenger and creating an Arduino robotic ball.

Renee Tso completed their formal education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they attended from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Mission San Jose High School from 2009 to 2014.
