Chong Zhi Wei

Chong Zhi Wei has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Chong is currently working as a Software Engineer at Arta Finance, where they utilize their technical skills to develop software solutions. Prior to this, Chong worked at Google as a Software Engineer for two years, contributing to the development of innovative technologies. Chong also has experience in the autonomous vehicles industry, having worked at nuTonomy as a Software Engineer in both DevOps and Full Stack roles. Chong was responsible for leading Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery efforts, managing AWS infrastructure, and building deployment pipelines. Additionally, Chong has entrepreneurial experience as the Co-Founder of CatchSense, where they successfully raised funding and led the product development and deployment. Chong is also an Alumni of Entrepreneur First, a program that supports and fosters entrepreneurship. Chong's academic background includes being an Undergraduate Student at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), where they also worked as a Undergraduate Student Researcher. Furthermore, Chong gained valuable industry exposure through internships at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they worked as a Summer Technology Analyst, and Fonda Lighting, where they contributed to the creation of a Smart Lighting system prototype. Chong's work experience showcases their technical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and adaptability in different industries.

Chong Zhi Wei completed their high school education at Hwa Chong Institution from 2007 to 2010. Chong then attended Hwa Chong Junior College from 2011 to 2012. Later on, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Systems Technology & Design at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) from 2013 to 2016.
