Mahmoud Fahmy

Mahmoud Fahmy is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in design and project management within the construction and transportation sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and Design Manager at Inland Rail since April 2024, Mahmoud previously held the position of Design Manager for the Inland Rail Project at ARTC from September 2022 to April 2024. Prior roles include Design Manager at Fulton Hogan and Director of Construction for Qetaifan Projects, overseeing the development of Qetaifan Island North in Qatar. Mahmoud's earlier career includes various managerial and engineering roles at AECOM and AECOM Australia Pty Ltd, contributing to significant projects like the Lusail LRT and M2 Motorway Upgrade. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University, independent law studies at the University of Sydney, and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from The University of Manchester.
