Maria Akel

Maria Akel is a skilled data consulting manager currently employed at Artefact since December 2022, previously serving as a senior data consultant. Maria has extensive experience in engineering, having worked at Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) from October 2014 to December 2022 as an engineering consultant and project engineer, where responsibilities included facilitating communication between clients and design teams and managing project deliverables and budgets. Maria began their career as a site engineer intern at MAN Enterprise in the summer of 2013, focusing on site supervision, material estimation, and surveying. Maria holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut and completed the Lebanese Baccalaureat in General Science at College des Soeurs des Saints Coeur.
