Piyali Sircar

Piyali Sircar has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Piyali began their career as an Intern at PhRMA in 2008, followed by a Consultant role at L.E.K. Consulting in 2009. In 2013, they were a Business Development Associate at MassChallenge, followed by a Design Researcher role at Design Science Consulting Inc. in 2014. In the same year, they were also a User Experience Lead at BlueJay Mobile Health, Inc. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Graduate Student (MSc in Design for Interaction) at Technische Universiteit Delft, during which time they held internships and assistantships both within and outside the university. In 2019, they were a Design Research & Experimentation Lead at Bionic and a Resident at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. In 2021, they became a Senior UX Researcher at One Drop, and in 2022, they took on the role of Lead Design Researcher at Artefact.

Piyali Sircar attended West Windsor Plainsboro High School South from 2001 to 2005. Piyali then went on to the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Bioengineering in 2009. Piyali subsequently pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Design for Interaction at Delft University of Technology, which they completed in 2018.
