Jacob Camacho Espinosa

Jacob Camacho Espinosa is an experienced civil engineer specializing in hydraulic structures and environmental engineering. Currently working at Artelia as an Ingénieur en Génie Civil et Ouvrages Hydrauliques since October 2023, Jacob previously held the position of Ingénieur Génie Civil for EDF at ALTEN from October 2019 to September 2023, engaging in project phases including APS, APD, DCE, and realization, while focusing on the modelling and verification of reinforced concrete structural elements. Earlier experience includes a civil engineering internship at EDF, where Jacob studied scour effects at the Petit Saut dam, and an engineering internship at SAFEGE - CONSULTING, developing hydraulic models to assess flood risks. Jacob began a career in engineering as an assistant engineer at Frainco Ingeniería Ltda., contributing to the structural design of concrete works and buildings. Jacob holds an engineering degree in Hydraulics, Works, and Environment from Grenoble INP - Ense3 and has studied at Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
