Patrizia Polese

Patrizia Polese has worked in the textile industry since 2008. Patrizia began their career as a Weaving Teacher at Lepido Rocco, then moved on to become a Product Graphics Designer at EUROMARK INDUSTRIES SRL. In 2016, they became the Artistic Director at Basilico Tredici and an Artist at me stesso. In 2018, they were a Designer at NICKI COLOMBO and Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua, where they designed and hand-crafted the Sghiribiss lamp. In 2019, they became a Textile Artist at Artemest and a Professor Docente at Università Iuav di Venezia. In the same year, they were also selected as an Artist for the XXI International Exhibition - W. Woman in Italian Design at La Triennale di Milano. Finally, they have been running their own Textile School since 2008.

Patrizia Polese attended the 'Scuola triennale d'Arte Applicata' from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a qualification in weaving on vertical loom. Her field of study was weaving on haute lisse loom.
