Alessandro Bordogna has an extensive work experience in the design and lighting industry. Alessandro currently holds the position of CEO & Creative Director at DESIGNWARDS since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Lighting Department at VENINI starting from December 2019. Alessandro has also worked at Artemide, where they were the Head of Design Department from January 2015 to December 2019. Before that, they worked as the R&D Manager at Lineager/Marcatre from 2001 to 2004 and at QuattroBi from 2000 to 2001. Alessandro started their career at FontanaArte as a Product Manager from 1997 to 2000. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in managing design teams, developing new design collections, and optimizing development costs and lead times.

Alessandro Bordogna has a diverse educational background in various fields. Alessandro studied Design, Interior Design, and Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. In 2018 to 2019, they pursued an Executive Master in Business Design at 24ORE Business School. Additionally, they obtained a degree in Architettura, specifically an Esame di stato - Professione Architetto, from Politecnico di Milano. Alessandro further expanded their education in 2018 to 2019 by earning a Master of Business Design from Milano.
