Valeria Torgano has extensive work experience in Human Resources. Valeria worked as the Human Resources, Organization & Safety Director at PRELIOS S.p.A., where they reported to the CEO and was responsible for HR management in Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands. Valeria also served as the Europe HR Manager at Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A. and as the HR Manager at Edilnord 2000 Group, managing several operating companies. Prior to that, they held HR roles at Paolo Berlusconi Group and Fininvest. In their most recent position, they were the Human Resources Director at Artemide.
Valeria Torgano started their education in 1980 at Liceo classico Carlo Alberto Novara, where they obtained a Diploma. Valeria then went on to attend Università degli Studi di Milano from 1985 to 1991, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Political Science.

In 1994 Artemide received The "Compaso D'oro" career Award and European Design Prize In 1997. The Artemide Lamps are today considered as Design Icons of contemporary design; being exhibited in most museums of modern art and design collections.
