Joe Carter has extensive experience in the real estate industry. Joe currently holds the position of Managing Director at Artemis Real Estate Partners, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, Joe worked at Wells Fargo for over two decades. From January 2014 to February 2022, they served as the Executive Vice President/Managing Director, overseeing the Southeast Division of Wells Fargo Commercial Real Estate platform. Joe managed offices across multiple locations from Washington, DC to Florida. From August 2001 to December 2013, Joe held the position of Senior Vice President/Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo, where they focused on managing the Commercial Real Estate platform for the Washington/Baltimore/Virginia area. During this time, they also played a key role in the acquisition and integration of the Wachovia real estate platform.
Joe Carter attended Wake Forest University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Joe then pursued further education at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business from 1988 to 1989, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Corporate Finance and Real Estate.
