David Pinkler

David Pinkler has a diverse work experience across various tech companies. David started their career at PwC as a Principal Consultant, and then worked at Eye Street Solutions LLC as a Senior Consultant for SQL Server and Oracle databases. David then worked at The Seva Group as a Senior Consultant where they designed and implemented databases for e-commerce web applications and financial services. Later, they worked at Henggeler Computer Consultants as a Database/Software Engineer where they designed and implemented data warehouse solutions using ETL for data warehouses using various technologies.

David then worked at Oracle as a Managing Principal Consultant and was responsible for managing the execution, financials, and resource management of large-scale IT projects. David also worked as a personnel manager for a team of IT consultants. At Catalyst DevWorks, they served as the Director of Technology and was responsible for assembling Agile project teams, managing resources, and helping customers reach consensus on project goals.

After that, David worked at Oracle again as a Consulting Technical Manager and then as a Principal Sales Consultant where they implemented prototypes and provided guidance for a variety of middleware products. David supported the sales team in identifying opportunities and building out demos for customers. David then worked at Next Century Corporation as the Team Lead for a small team designing and implementing a Kafka messaging fabric using Java API and Spring Boot.

Currently, David joining Artera Technologies as a Principal Engineer.

David Pinkler obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland in 1987, and completed their Master of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2010. In addition, they obtained three certifications in People Analytics, Operations Analytics, and Customer Analytics from Coursera Course Certificates in 2015 and 2016.
