Joel Wiegert

Joel brings more than 20 years of global leadership experience to his role driving the strategic vision for Artera and identifying ways to increase value for their people, customers, and shareholders. Before joining the Artera team in November 2022, Joel was the CEO of Dayco and a member of the company’s Board of Managers. Previously, he spent 18 years with BorgWarner and Dana in leadership positions with increasing responsibility, including roles in Mexico and China. His extensive automotive industry experience spans aftermarket, engine, drivetrain, and electrification products. Joel earned a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton (Ill.) College, a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an Executive MBA from Bowling Green State University.
