Songwan Joun

Songwan Joun has work experience as a Statistical Programmer Analyst at Artera since March 2022. Songwan also worked as an Internship Trainee at the International Rice Research Institute from October 2021 to February 2022, where they built a Streamlit dashboard using Keras NN and SVR for plant phenotyping in Python. Additionally, they assisted with statistical analysis training courses. Prior to that, they were a Student Intern at Providence Health Care from July 2020 to October 2020.

Songwan Joun holds a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Victoria, which was obtained from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, Songwan Joun completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics with a minor in Computer Science from Kyungpook National University, studying from 2013 to 2017. In addition, Songwan Joun participated in an exchange program at Dalhousie University, focusing on Statistics, during the academic year 2015-2016.

Furthermore, Songwan Joun has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. They have completed the Python Fundamentals track from DataCamp in January 2022. In June 2021, they completed the Introduction to Git course from DataCamp. In March 2021, Songwan Joun also completed the SQL Fundamentals Track from DataCamp. Lastly, in June 2016, they earned the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 (CBP) certification from SAS.
