Alvin Santos

Alvin Santos is a seasoned verification engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and semiconductor industries. Currently employed at SEAKR Engineering, Inc. since December 2019, Alvin is responsible for verifying FPGAs used in space applications, including a Stepper Motor Controller for a weather satellite and an infrared image processor for a "search for life" satellite. Previously, at Ball Aerospace, Alvin managed verification tasks for various FPGA projects. As a Product Development Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Alvin implemented verification architectures using UVM for SOC ASICs and contributed to tools setup and coverage collection. Alvin's earlier experience at Mentor Graphics included roles as a Technical Account Manager and Application Engineering Consultant, focusing on verification methodologies and tools. Alvin began career as an Electronic Engineer at Advanced Bionics Corporation, developing FPGA interfaces and PCB designs. Alvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical-Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
