Laura Vargas

Laura Vargas is a software developer currently employed at Arterys, following its acquisition by Tempus Labs, since June 2022. Previously, Laura contributed to the OER Biomechanics Project as a problem developer, where biomechanics problems were developed and uploaded onto WeBWorK from June 2020 to April 2021. Laura gained early experience as a software development intern at VizworX Inc., creating software tests in C# and collaborating on user interface development using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML during the summer of 2019. Additionally, Laura worked as a technician at MultirotorHeli from July 2016 to August 2018, focusing on diagnosing and repairing drones, as well as assisting in the opening of a new store in Toronto. Laura holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Biomechanics and Biomaterials, from The University of British Columbia, earned between 2017 and 2021.
