Nikolaos Koukiasas

Nikolaos is an experienced multi-asset class portfolio manager and trader with over nineteen years of experience in fixed income. He has expertise in a broad range of credit products, rates and foreign exchange. Prior to joining Artesian, Nikolaos was Global Head of Commerzbank’s emerging markets credit trading team where he managed a substantial emerging markets portfolio and co-managed a banks and financials portfolio (Europe & USA) with consistent returns. He has also previously worked at investment banks including Nomura, Credit Agricole and Toronto Dominion Bank. His ability to manage sizable and complex trading portfolios won much recognition from counterparties, with whom he established strong relationships across the European and US trading hours. In his first two years at TD he was involved in trading and issuing Eurobonds in EM currencies, resulting in several IFR awards. Nikolaos began his career at Bank of America as an analyst and FX trader. He holds an MSc in Mathematical Trading and Finance from Cass Business School at the City University London.
