Katja Spindler

Katja Spindler has extensive experience in finance and risk management. Katja is currently the Director (Head of Finance) at Alwyn Insurance Company Limited since July 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at Artex Risk Solutions from 2017 to 2018, including Director, Chief Risk Officer, and Financial Controller - International Business. Katja was also the Group Financial Controller at LAMP Group Limited from 2015 to 2017. Before that, they worked as a Senior Client Accountant at Robus Group from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Katja served as a Senior Client Account Manager at Quest Insurance Management Gibraltar Ltd from 2010 to 2013 and as a Financial Accountant at Pfizer Global Financial Shared Services from 2010 to 2010. Katja began their career as an Assistant Accountant at Tifco Ltd from 2008 to 2010 and as a Part-qualified Accountant at DCA Accountants and Business Advisors from 2005 to 2008.

Katja Spindler attended Otto Friedrich Universitaet Bamberg from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Economic Studies degree with a specialization in Economics. Katja also pursued further education in Accounting through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, although the specific dates of their enrollment are not provided. In 2018, they obtained the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma from the FT Non-Executive Director Programme.
