Martin Le Pelley has extensive experience in risk and compliance, with their current role as the Head of Risk & Compliance at Artex Risk Solutions. Prior to their current position, they had roles as Compliance Director and Finance Director at Artex Risk Solutions International. Martin also served as Compliance Director at Heritage Group Limited and Assistant Director at GFSC. Additionally, they held the position of Chairman at Guernsey International Insurance Association. Martin began their career at PwC, where they worked as a Senior Manager for over 17 years.
Martin Le Pelley received their education at several institutions throughout their academic journey. Martin attended Elizabeth College in Guernsey from 1980 to 1988. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics at the University of Essex, where they studied from 1988 to 1991. Martin then went on to further their education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), where they obtained the FCA degree in Accountancy. Martin accomplished this in January 1994 and became a Chartered Accountant.
