Nikita Loik

Nikita Loik is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at ArtFacts since January 2021, Nikita focuses on data-driven strategy development, quality control, and the Limna App's data components, including artwork-price estimation and artist-career forecasting. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist at fromAtoB, where Nikita created benchmarking tools and optimized legacy code, and Data Scientist at Parkling, where cost-saving prediction models were implemented. Academic experience includes postdoctoral research at the Karolinska Institutet and the University of Tokyo, focusing on data analysis in health and drug discovery, respectively. Nikita holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford and multiple Master's degrees in Organic Chemistry and Economics from Saint Petersburg State University.
