Gianna Samms

Gianna Samms has extensive experience in the arts sector, currently serving as an Editorial Research Intern at Artforum International Magazine since February 2020, where responsibilities include fact-checking and communicating with galleries and museums globally. Prior roles include an internship at Dia Art Foundation focused on developing inquiry-based tours and conducting research, and serving as a Research Assistant at Vassar College, organizing lectures and assisting with film screenings. Additionally, Gianna was a Docent at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, leading interactive tours and creating educational content. Early experience includes a Pathways Internship at the Social Security Administration and transcription work for Vassar College's Office for Accessibility & Educational Opportunity. Gianna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Art History from Vassar College.
