Leigh Rice is a Community Development Specialist at the Arthritis Foundation since October 2012, bringing extensive experience in senior services and activity coordination. Prior to this role, Leigh owned and administered Daybreak Senior Services from January 2009 to June 2012, providing daytime care and support to seniors while offering respite for caregivers. Additionally, Leigh served as the Director of Activities at Hawthorn House - Air Force Enlisted Village from August 2006 to March 2009, overseeing activities for a 74-bed assisted living facility. Leigh holds a Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of South Alabama.
