Sara Peterson

Sara Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sara currently serves as the Executive Director for the Arthritis Foundation, where they are responsible for the growth and profitability of Wisconsin AF markets, manages relationships with board members and donors, and explores new revenue streams. Prior to this, Sara worked as an Event Manager and Development Coordinator for the Lung Cancer Research Foundation's Free to Breathe Events Program. Sara also had a brief stint as Co-owner of Twice as Nice Family Resale. Additionally, they worked as a Retail Volunteer Coordinator for HospiceCare Inc and as a Marketing and Events Coordinator for Gilda's Club of Madison. Earlier in their career, Sara held positions as a Foundation Special Projects Coordinator at HospiceCare Inc, a Public Relations Specialist at Carlson, and a Media Relations Specialist at Park Nicollet Health Services.

From 1990 to 1994, Sara Peterson attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
