Britt J. Johnson has over 20 years of experience as an autoimmune patient and serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator at the Arthritis National Research Foundation since October 2015, where Britt bridges medical research with the patient community through initiatives such as the web series "Arthritis Now" and the ambassador program. As the creator and owner of The Hurt Blogger, Britt has worked since June 2011 as an ePatient advocate, consultant, writer, and speaker. Previous roles include Community Outreach Coordinator at Stanford University School of Medicine and JA Coordinator at the Jeffrey Gottfurcht Children's Arthritis Foundation, where Britt focused on fulfilling dreams for children with Juvenile Arthritis. Britt also has a background in graphic design and media management from a position with the City of Austin and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media and Theater Arts from Montana State University-Bozeman.
