Gerald Blackwell

Gerald Blackwell is an experienced database professional with a strong history in SQL Server administration and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator and Technical Team Lead at Gallagher since June 2021, Gerald has also held senior roles at Huntsville Hospital and The Brock Group LLC, where responsibilities included enhancing database performance, implementing recovery procedures, and conducting system backups. Previous positions include Database Administrator at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and SQL Server DBA at BMC Software, where Gerald managed infrastructure installations and optimization. With a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Park College, Gerald brings over two decades of expertise in database management and disaster recovery planning.
