Lars Gustafson

Lars Gustafson serves as the Managing Director and U.S. Practice Leader at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., overseeing growth, leadership, and knowledge development for the United States Marine Practice since March 2016. Simultaneously, Lars has been an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Maritime College since September 1998, specializing in Marine Insurance and Shipmanagement courses. Previously, Lars held the position of Senior Vice President at Marsh from February 1992 to March 2016. Lars holds a Master’s Degree in Marine Insurance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Transportation from the State University of New York Maritime College, along with an executive education certificate in Breakthrough Leadership from Harvard Business School.
