Annika Erikson

Annika Erikson is the CEO of Articheck. Annika has over fifteen years of experience in the art world, including positions at John Jones Ltd, the American School in London, Tate, and the Royal Horticultural Society. In their current role, they are responsible for the company's overall strategy and operations.

Annika has a deep passion for art and conservation. Annika started their career as an intern at Jamie Reid, before working as an art consultant and freelance paper conservator. In 2006, they became the Picture Library Curator at the Royal Horticultural Society. Three years later, they joined Tate as a Paper Conservator. In this role, they were responsible for private work, including treatment, condition checking, collection surveys, lectures, and teaching.

In 2011, Annika left Tate to become the Head of Paper Conservation at John Jones Ltd. Annika created a new Conservation Department at the company and oversaw projects for some of the world's most famous artists, including Indian Miniatures, Andy Warhol, Chris Ofili, Francis Bacon, Irving Penn, Richard Deacon, and Lichtenstein.

In their current role as CEO of Articheck, Annika is responsible for the company's overall strategy and operations. Articheck is a mobile app that helps art professionals track artworks and manage collections. The app is used by major museums and galleries around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the British Museum, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.

Annika Erikson has a BA in Conservation from University of the Arts London. Annika also has a certification in Conservation from Camberwell College of Art, University of Arts, London. Additionally, they have an Art Theirtory degree from Long Beach City College, and a degree in Photography and Ancient Greek Literature from The Aegean Center for the Fine Arts.
