Arafaat Mimiko

Arafaat Mimiko is a skilled motion designer and video editor with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Motion Designer at Articulate since July 2019, Arafaat collaborates with software developers to create engaging animations essential to the company's products. Arafaat also operates a personal venture, Mimiko Studio, since October 2015, designing and animating videos for numerous notable brands, such as General Motors and Samsung. Previous roles include Motion Designer and Video Editor at FleishmanHillard, where assistance was provided to clients like Google and Marriott, and as a Motion Graphic Artist at Arayana Global Services. Arafaat gained foundational skills during an internship at GSP Studios. Educational background includes a Master’s of Arts in Post Production with Visual Effects from the University of York and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University.
