Martin Gertsch

Martin Gertsch has been involved in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries for over 20 years. Martin currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for ARTIDIS AG. Prior to this, they were Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee for Santhera Pharmaceuticals. Martin also served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Audit Committee for Nuomedis AG.

Gertsch began their career in finance, holding positions such as Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President Head of Finance EMEA for Synthes and Evolva Group, respectively. In 2009, they transitioned into operations, serving as COO/CFO for Delenex Therapeutics AG. Martin then became CFO for ESBATech AG in 2007 before returning to finance in 2011.

In addition to their work in the private sector, Gertsch has also served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Audit Committee for University Center of Dentistry.

Martin Gertsch’s educational career began at the IMD Business School, where they earned their CPA. Martin then went on to study economics and audit at the Kammerschule BS/ZH.
