Artifact is San Francisco’s premier contemporary pop culture and pop art gallery, with an emphasis on bringing to light innovative works by both established and emerging artists. Our primary mission is to push the boundaries of fine art, and blur the line between fine art and commercial artwork.

The artists represented by Artifact capture the spirit of what’s happening in your life right now and what’s next; they are art’s bleeding edge. We show work in a variety of mediums including painting, illustration, photography, and digital, with influences from the editorial, advertising, fashion, music, comics, video game and motion picture industries.

The Gallery Space
Artifact inhabits a one thousand square foot space at the apex of SOMA, The Mission and Hayes Valley, San Francisco’s most vibrant urban neighborhoods. Within the building is a unique modular wall paneling system that allows artists the flexibility to transform the space with their own unique vision.

Complementary Ventures
In addition to fine art, Artifact has additional ventures in the production of fine art prints and apparel lines to help further our artists’ careers. We also utilize a variety of avenues including public relations, online marketing, print and social media to increase awareness for the artists we work with.
