Artiform Design is a Brooklyn-based industrial design consultancy helping hardware teams build products that perform and are enjoyable to use.

We work with engineers, scientists, and founders tackling complex physical product challenges, translating technical requirements into designs that are manufacturable, differentiated, and built for real users.

Our clients span a wide range of industries and complexity, from consumer appliances and medical devices to industrial equipment and climate technology. What they share is a need for design that bridges engineering and human experience.

For HatchMed, we are supporting the design of a new generation of hospital technology, replacing outdated pillow speakers and static signage with connected, patient-centered devices that improve the experience of care for patients and staff alike.

For Klaris, we designed the new miniature clear ice maker from the ground up, delivering a refined visual identity, improved user experience, and internal engineering enhancements that make a technically complex product feel effortless to own and use.

For AON3D, we helped reimagine their flagship high-temperature 3D printer, working across teams to resolve competing priorities in usability, manufacturing, and cost. The result was an approachable, human centered architecture with a strong visual identity and lower production cost.

For Thalo Labs, a focused design sprint helped their team of scientists and engineers break the anchor of early functional prototypes and explore a broader range of architectures for their climate technology.

Artiform Design engagements are lean, targeted, and run in parallel with internal development. No design team to manage, no overhead to absorb. From concept and CAD through design for manufacturing and final deliverables, we give shape to the future.
