Zachary Nelson

Zachary Nelson has worked in the medical industry since 2016. Zachary began their career as a Clinical Affairs and R&D Intern at ZOLL Medical Corporation in 2016. After that, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Penumbra, Inc. from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they took on two roles as an R&D Engineer at Avantec Vascular Corporation and a Product Development Engineer at PQ Bypass, Inc. Currently, they are employed as a Senior R&D Engineer at Artio Medical, Inc.

Zachary Nelson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of California, Davis between 2013 and 2017. In April 2020, they obtained a Writing in the Sciences certification from Coursera. In April 2017, they obtained certifications for Biomedical Researchers and Staff, Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research, and GCP Course for Clinical Trials Involving Investigational Medical Devices from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY.
