Eric Sawatzky

Eric Sawatzky's work experience begins in 2008 when they founded Nexit Solutions and served as the owner until November 2010. In September 2010, they joined Artis REIT as a Systems Support Analyst, where they supported business-critical servers and implemented security measures. Eric then progressed to the role of Sr. Systems Support Analyst from January 2012 to May 2012. From June 2012 to May 2014, Eric served as the IT Systems Administration Manager, where they led IT planning and infrastructure design for office expansions and deployed critical support resolution systems. From June 2014 to March 2021, they held the position of Director of Information Technology, and they currently hold the role of Vice President of Information Technology starting in April 2021 for Artis REIT.

Eric Sawatzky graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce Honors degree in Business/Commerce, General in the years 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Red River College Polytechnic from 2003 to 2005, majoring in Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Eric has obtained several certifications in various IT and security fields from institutions such as Microsoft, (ISC)², and EC-Council.
