Jeff Lebens

Chief Engineer at Artis Real Estate Investment Trust

Jeff Lebens started their work experience in 1999 as a Facilities Manager at Aircraft Interior Design, where they managed budgets, organized shipping and receiving, and oversaw the repair of airplane seats. In 2001, they joined CBRE as a Building Engineer, responsible for maintaining a 110,000 square foot office building and managing various systems such as heat pumps, boilers, and cooling towers. In 2007, they moved to Cushman & Wakefield as a Lead Building Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer, where they handled repairs for a 450,000 square foot class A office building, including chillers, boilers, and VAV boxes. Jeff then joined City Center Real Estate Services LLC in 2018 as a Chief Engineer, overseeing maintenance tasks until 2020. Currently, they are working as the Chief Engineer at Artis REIT.

Jeff Lebens obtained a high school diploma from Jordan High School, where they attended from 1982 to 1989. Jeff then went on to Hennepin Technical College from 1989 to 1990 to study accounting, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. In addition to their education, Jeff has also obtained several certifications, including boiler chief C certification from the State of Minnesota in March 2014, power limited technician certification from the State of Minnesota in July 2003, and EPA certification from the Esco Institute in June 2000.
