Mara Reed

Mara Reed has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mara started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Northwest Cosmetic Labs in 2010 and worked there until 2012. Mara then joined Nu Skin as a Product Associate from 2012 to 2014. In 2016, they worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Controlpad until 2018. Mara joined Canopy in 2019 as a Tax Associate and worked until 2020. Mara then transitioned to the cosmetics industry and worked as a Senior Cosmetic Chemist at Artisan Labs from 2021 to 2021, where they formulated skin care products and oversaw pilot batches. Mara then became an R&D Manager at Artisan Labs from 2021 to 2023, overseeing research and development, regulatory and compounding departments. Currently, they serve as the Director of Research Development at Artisan Labs, where they act as the technical point of contact for both internal teams and clients and collaborates with business development to bring effective cosmetic products to market. Mara is also responsible for developing differentiated cosmetic products.

Mara Reed's education history includes attending the UC James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, where they studied Cosmetic Science. Mara also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting at Utah Valley University.
