Heath Y. has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2014, they started their career as a Software Engineer at the Biosecurity Research Institute, where they designed and maintained software for a biosecurity level 3 research institute. This included projects such as an inventory tracking application and facility software.

In 2018, Heath joined Centene Corporation as a Clinical Informatics Analyst. In this role, they designed and implemented clinical data analytics reporting and statistical reporting, contributing to financial savings. Heath also monitored progress with assigned programs. Later, they transitioned to the role of a Machine Learning Engineer at Centene, where they deployed predictive models into production and worked on maintaining payment integrity applications.

From 2018 onwards, Heath Y. also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Kansas State University, teaching in an academic capacity.
