Kevin Mauldin

Kevin Mauldin is an experienced musician and educator with a focus on double bass performance. Currently, Kevin serves as a musician and mentor at the Hot Springs Music Festival, coaching and performing alongside faculty and students globally. As the owner of KGM String Repair, Kevin specializes in repairs for string instruments. Kevin holds the position of principal bass with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and previously served the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera Association in the same role. Academic contributions include serving as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Miami, where Kevin provided private instruction and facilitated ensemble classes. Kevin also contributed to the Brevard Music Center as artist faculty, coaching bass students. Kevin holds a Master of Music degree from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from Memphis State University.
