Woodie Perrin

Woodie Perrin has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Starting in 1990, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Wyeth Research, gaining experience in hazardous materials management and various laboratory techniques. They also received recognition in the Journal of Biological Chemistry.

In 1996, Woodie joined Advanced Tissue Sciences as a Manufacturing Associate and Document Control MRP. They then moved to Dura Pharmaceuticals in 1998 as a Document Control Assistant, where they facilitated management and change control boards and handled document issuance.

In 1999, Woodie worked at Chimeric Therapies as a Clinical Document Controls & Materials Procurement role, overseeing clinical documentation and materials procurement for clinical trials. They then joined Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation as a Laboratory Manager, where they managed tenant improvements and assisted with the design of a new institute campus.

From 2001 to 2016, Woodie worked at Senomyx, Inc., starting as a Facilities Manager and progressing to Senior Director. In this role, they managed comprehensive facilities operations, including budgets, staffing, contracts, construction/renovation, and system upgrades.

From 2016 to 2021, Woodie worked at Otonomy, Inc. as a Sr. Manager of Facilities. They continued to oversee comprehensive facilities operations and provided recommendations to the CTO based on operational trends and strategic planning meetings.

Currently, Woodie is the Director of Facilities at Artiva Biotherapeutics since 2021. They serve as the tenant representative for the construction of a research and development facility and are responsible for overseeing all facilities operations, including budgets, staffing, contracts, and maintenance.

Throughout their career, Woodie has demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills, as well as expertise in facilities operations and maintenance.

Woodie Perrin attended UC San Diego from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Professional Certificate in Facilities Management.
