William Hoekstra

William Hoekstra has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on medicinal chemistry. Most recently, William served as Sr. Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Artizan Biosciences, Inc. from April 2019 to June 2023. Prior to this role, William held the position of Sr. Vice President of Chemistry at Selenity Therapeutics from June 2018 to March 2019, and spent over a decade at Viamet Pharmaceuticals as Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry from 2007 to 2018. William's career began at Johnson & Johnson, where a role as Principal Scientist/Research Fellow was held from 1991 to 2000, followed by a tenure at GSK as Sr. Team Leader from 2000 to 2007.
