Xiang Fan

Xiang Fan has worked in the Quality Assurance field since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Quality Assurance at Pactera. In 2014, they worked as a QA Analyst at Smarter Travel. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at SmarterTravel as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer where they developed automated end-to-end tests across multiple products and browsers using Watir WebDriver and RSpec in Ruby which significantly reduced QA's manual testing overhead, performed functional and regression testing to find and log bugs in web applications on a daily release cycle, and trained new co-ops to work successfully with QA's toolset on a small team. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Test Automation Engineer at HqO. Currently, they are a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Ark PES.

Xiang Fan attended Beijing University of Technology from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Physics. Xiang then attended Northeastern University from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science. Xiang continued their studies at Northeastern University, graduating in 2019 with a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science.
