Anthony Smith is a trustee at ArtPride New Jersey. Anthony has previously worked as a project manager at Newark Municipal Council, Jambalaya Productions, and New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
Smith began their career in 1996 as a project manager at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. In this role, they were responsible for developing the center's marketing strategy and raising $300,000 in funding for three commemorative programs.
In 1998, Smith transitioned to Newark Municipal Council, where they served as a project manager for quality of life initiatives, public relations, community forums, art/cultural and tourism matters. In 2006, they left Newark Municipal Council to join Jambalaya Productions.
Since joining ArtPride New Jersey in 2018, Smith has been responsible for overseeing the organization's finances and operations. Anthony has also helped ArtPride New Jersey expand its programming and partnerships with other arts organizations across the state.
Anthony Smith has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a BA in Marketing from Stockton University, and an ARM Associates in Risk Management from The Institutes - Risk and Insurance Knowledge Group. Anthony is currently enrolled in a Global Leadership Development Program (ILP) at Landmark.
