Brent Johnson

Brent Johnson is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and pop culture writing. Currently serving as a Politics Reporter for NJ Advance Media since January 2014, Brent covers state politics for New Jersey's largest news organization, with work featured in The Star-Ledger and on NJ.com. An Online Politics Producer/Reporter for The Star-Ledger since December 2010, Brent has also held roles overseeing news and sports content for NJ.com. Additional experience includes co-founding and managing a pop-culture website, serving as a Pop Culture Writer for Discover Jersey Arts, and reporting for various publications, including The Trenton Times and The Daily News-Record. Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/American Studies from Rutgers University.
