Carly Heard

Carly Heard is a seasoned professional in event management and safety, currently serving as Coordinator of Health and Safety at Arts Centre Melbourne since February 2023. In this role, Carly supports the Production Safety Team with the safe technical delivery of events and conducts production risk assessments. Previous experience includes serving as a Freelance Project & Production Manager for various organizations from April 2012 to January 2017, coordinating projects and events such as the New Year's Eve celebration and the St Kilda Festival. Additional roles include Event & Campaign Project Manager at District Agency, Production Manager at the Victorian College of the Arts, and Project Manager at MEGAFUN, where Carly contributed to numerous notable arts and entertainment projects. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from RMIT University and a Bachelor's degree in Dramatic Art from the Victorian College of the Arts.
