Shannon Ambrose

Shannon Ambrose is an experienced administrative professional with a diverse background in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Administrative Coordinator at Arts Commons since March 2023, Shannon also holds the position of Vice President and Director of PR & Media for the YYC Music Awards, contributing to daily administrative tasks, event planning, and community engagement since January 2016. As a founding board member of the YYC Music Awards Foundation, Shannon actively participates in fostering connections within the music industry. Previous roles include Volunteer Coordinator for the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society, Owner and Chief Managing Editor of The Portal Magazine, and positions in administration and marketing at various companies, including APEGA Foundation and Integrated Production Services. Shannon's educational foundation includes a degree from Medicine Hat College in Secretarial Office Technology and Business Administration.
