Ben Lane has extensive experience in the music industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of Business Innovation and National Lead for Music at Arts Council England since January 2009. Previous roles include Applications Manager at PRS Foundation and various positions related to music management and relationships in Southeast England. Ben's early career featured work as a PA and Librarian for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and an Office Assistant at Glyndebourne. Additionally, Ben has worked as a freelance music consultant specializing in project management, evaluation, and fundraising. Academically, Ben holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Portsmouth, a PGDip in Musical Analysis and Performance from the University of Surrey, and a BA in Twentieth Century Music Studies from the University of Sussex.
