Gerbrand van der Linde has a diverse work experience spanning over more than two decades. Gerbrand started their career as an Accountant at PwC from September 1995 to August 1998. Gerbrand then worked as an Assistant Group Controller at Aalberts N.V. from September 1998 to May 2000. After taking a sabbatical from June 2000 to November 2000, they joined Stöpler Medical B.V. as a Controller from December 2000 to December 2003.

In 2004, Gerbrand became the Director of Stöpler Belgium, a position they held until November 2014. From January 2008 to November 2014, they served as the Finance Director at SHCG, focusing on products and services for healthcare providers.

In 2015, Gerbrand established their own company, Van der Linde Finance, where they worked as an Interim Manager until December 2018. During this time, they also took on the role of Co-founder and Partner at Health Access International from December 2014 onwards. Health Access International focuses on the development and realization of medical infrastructure and digital health projects, with a particular emphasis on Africa, the Caribbean region, and the Middle East.

Starting from January 2021, Gerbrand assumed the role of Director at Primary Care Caribbean, a position they currently hold. Since June 2018, they have also been serving as the CFO of Arts en Zorg, the largest national provider of primary healthcare in the Netherlands. Arts en Zorg aims to make good healthcare accessible to everyone in the country, employing various channels such as healthcare centers, digital-first practices, and medical call centers.

Gerbrand van der Linde began their education in 1988 at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc)/ drs in Business Economics. Gerbrand successfully completed their studies in 1994. In 1992, they briefly attended the University of Münster, focusing on Betriebswirtschaf. In order to further enhance their business knowledge and skills, Gerbrand pursued Executive Education programs. In 2011, they attended INSEAD for one year, and later in 2013, they completed a program at Harvard Business School Executive Education. The specific degrees attained during these periods are unknown.
