João Catalão

João Catalão started their career in 2007 as a Junior Developer at GFI Portugal. João worked there until 2008 before joining ARTSOFT Business Software as a Software Engineer. João has been with ARTSOFT since then and currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as of April 2021.

João Catalão has a strong educational background in the field of computer science. João obtained a Licenciatura in Informática from Instituto Superior de Tecnologias Avançadas, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In 2018 and 2019, João pursued Postgraduate Studies in Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa.

João has also acquired additional certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2015, João obtained certifications in "Compreender as solicitações do cliente" and "Gestão de requisitos e o seu ciclo de vida" from Bright Knowledge. In 2011, they received a certification in "Gestão de projetos" from Aventia and "Orientação ao cliente" from Paradoxo. Additionally, João obtained a certification in "Gestão de equipas" from AIP | Associação Industrial Portuguesa in February 2022.
