Lisa Harms

Senior Director of Visual Arts and Education at ARTSQUEST

Lisa Harms has a wealth of experience in the arts and education field. Lisa is currently serving as the Senior Director of Visual Arts and Education at ArtsQuest, a position they have held since September 2019. Prior to this role, Lisa was the Director of Education and Outreach at ArtsQuest, starting in March 2016.

Before joining ArtsQuest, Lisa worked at The National Museum of Industrial History. Lisa served as the Collections Manager & Education Coordinator from July 2015 to February 2016, and as a Consultant from September 2014 to June 2015.

Lisa also has experience at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where they held various roles. Lisa was the Assistant Museum Librarian for Collections & Access from July 2010 to August 2014, and the Associate Manager for Circulation & Collections from August 2001 to July 2010.

Lisa's career began at Columbia University, where they held the position of Access and Circulation Supervisor from August 1998 to August 2001.

Lisa Harms completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Women's Studies at the University of Pittsburgh from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued further education at the Pratt Institute, where they obtained a Master of Library and Information Science (MLS) degree in the field of Library and Information Science from 2002 to 2006.
