Janet Langsam started their work experience in 1976 as the First Deputy Commissioner at the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. Janet then worked as the Assistant Commissioner at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development from 1980 to 1987. In 1987, Langsam became the President and CEO of the Boston Center for the Arts and held this position until 1991. Since 1991, Langsam has been the CEO of Arts Westchester.
